Greg Rivera is a sales, marketing, and operations executive with over 20 years of experience in digital media and advertising. Currently, Greg leads sales for AspenCore in North America and Europe. Prior to AspenCore, Greg was VP of Sales at Vibrant Media, one of the first native advertising ad tech companies, and Vice President of Video Ad Sales for IDG.tv, IDG’s global video offering featuring original episodic programming and technology content across the largest technology publisher globally (PCWorld, MacWorld, CIO, ComputerWorld, and more). Prior to IDG, Greg spent 10 years with Microsoft in various sales leadership and strategy roles. He was Senior Director of the Interactive Content & Experiences team at Microsoft where his team delivered branded interactive content solutions across all Microsoft devices and services including: Xbox, Windows, Skype, MSN, and Bing. Earlier at Microsoft, Greg led multiple Xbox advertising sales teams while driving the Xbox TV video upfront sales strategy. His teams delivered some of the earliest and most innovative interactive branded experiences on the television screen with the largest brands in the industry. He was also a Business Strategy Consultant for Microsoft, helping Fortune 100 firms realize more value from their Microsoft technology investments.
Greg has held several strategic consulting and sales leadership positions within the interactive advertising, ad tech, direct marketing, and e-commerce industries for more than 20 years. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s Degree in Management of Technology from Fairfield University.
